I always have to open on Mondays. Always. Except this week. That's fine. I have some running around to do anyhow.
What annoys the bejujubees out of me, however, is that I have to open tomorrow. Since Andrew more than likely won't be in attendance again at Ground Control and since I have the big bag full of little things like, oh, the microphone and the playlists, I HAVE to go.
Three hours of sleep followed by a relatively new management schedule the following morning. Ack!
In other news,
darkviolet9 and I finally got around to seeing "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory" and both thoroughly enjoyed it. So there.
I actually grew up in Villa Park, IL, about 3 blocks away from a giant red brick factory (solo phallic chimmney and all) that just so happened to be the Ovaltine Chocolate Factory. The summer air was often filled with the smell of mouth-watering cocoa. The point at which Charlie Bucket sniffs the air in the movie, I sniffed along with him,an involuntary nostalgia reaction. Mmm.
